Team Overview
The Customer Enablement team helps developers, researchers, and customers successfully adopt Quantinuum technologies through technical education, documentation, community engagement, onboarding, regional programs, and technical support. The team connects external developer communities with Engineering, Product Management, Documentation, Ecosystem, Marketing, and other customer-facing organizations across Quantinuum.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer Advocate to serve developer adoption, education, and engagement across the Asia-Pacific region.
This role will serve as a trusted technical voice for Quantinuum and a bridge between APAC developers and our global product teams. You will help developers, researchers, startups, academic institutions, and ecosystem partners understand, adopt, and build with Quantinuum technologies through hands-on onboarding, technical content, workshops, regional programs, and community engagement.
You will also represent the needs of APAC developers internally by identifying recurring friction, documentation gaps, adoption barriers, and emerging use cases and translating those insights into actionable feedback for Product Management, Engineering, Documentation, Customer Support, and Ecosystem teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical credibility with a passion for teaching, writing, community building, and developer success. This is a senior individual-contributor role that requires the ability to independently shape regional developer advocacy priorities, build trusted relationships, and influence cross-functional decisions.
This role is based in Japan and will support initiatives across the broader APAC region.

本ポジションは、Quantinuumを代表する信頼性の高い技術的な発信者として、またAPACの開発者と当社のグローバルなプロダクトチームをつなぐ橋渡し役として活動します。実践的なオンボーディング、技術コンテンツ、ワークショップ、地域プログラム、コミュニティ活動を通じて、開発者、研究者、スタートアップ、学術機関、エコシステムパートナーがQuantinuumのテクノロジーを理解し、導入し、活用して開発できるよう支援します。
また、繰り返し発生する障壁、ドキュメント上の不足、導入を妨げる要因、新たなユースケースを特定し、それらをProduct Management、Engineering、Documentation、Customer Support、Ecosystemの各チームが対応可能なフィードバックへと変換することで、APACの開発者のニーズを社内に伝えます。

Key Responsibilities / 主な職務内容
- Develop, deliver, maintain, and continuously improve onboarding, training, tutorials, troubleshooting guidance, demonstrations, and self-service materials that help developers adopt Quantinuum hardware, software, cloud services, and development workflows.
- Facilitate technical talks, webinars, and workshops for developers with varying levels of quantum computing and software development expertise.
- Create practical learning experiences that help developers move from initial awareness to building, running, and advancing meaningful projects on Quantinuum platforms.
- Help developers navigate platform capabilities, documentation, APIs, tools, workflows, and best practices to accelerate time to value and reduce adoption friction.
- Create clear, technically accurate developer content, including tutorials, sample workflows, demonstrations, onboarding guides, FAQs, release guidance, and best-practice materials.
- Develop content for new and upcoming capabilities that help developers understand what is possible and apply features to real-world projects.
- Identify gaps in documentation, examples, tools, and learning resources and partner with global documentation and engineering owners to address them.
- Adapt, localize, and maintain developer-facing resources for Japanese and broader APAC audiences while preserving technical accuracy and alignment with global standards.
- Reuse insights from workshops, support interactions, and community questions to create scalable resources that improve self-service and reduce repeated friction.
- Build trusted relationships with developers, researchers, startups, academic institutions, industry partners, and other technical communities across APAC.
- Represent Quantinuum at technical workshops, hackathons, conferences, webinars, training programs, and ecosystem events through speaking, teaching, demonstrations, and hands-on engagement.
- Support community-building initiatives that strengthen sustained participation, peer learning, and knowledge sharing among Quantinuum developers.
- Partner with Ecosystem, Marketing, and regional teams to identify priority audiences, shape relevant programs, and create clear pathways for continued developer engagement.
- Maintain an active understanding of regional developer needs, technical trends, community activity, and opportunities for Quantinuum participation.
- Serve as the voice of APAC developers within Quantinuum, translating community feedback, adoption patterns, technical challenges, and emerging use cases into actionable insights.
- Establish structured feedback loops with Product Management, Engineering, Documentation, Customer Support, and Ecosystem teams.
- Advocate for improvements to developer experience, onboarding, documentation, tools, workflows, platform capabilities, and technical communications.
- Track recurring questions and friction points and use those insights to influence content priorities, product decisions, and regional enablement plans.
- Communicate product capabilities, limitations, and best practices accurately and credibly to external technical audiences.
- Serve as a regional technical resource for developer questions, platform adoption, and early issue investigation.
- Reproduce, investigate, and triage technical issues before escalating them to specialist engineering or product teams.
- Help developers identify appropriate workflows, examples, resources, and best practices when they encounter technical obstacles.
- Convert recurring technical questions and support patterns into documentation, tutorials, demonstrations, or product feedback.
- Collaborate with Customer Support while remaining focused on developer education, adoption, advocacy, and scalable improvements rather than primary support coordination.
- Independently develop and execute regional developer advocacy priorities aligned with Quantinuum’s global developer engagement strategy.
- Work with global Engineering, Product Management, Documentation, Customer Support, Marketing, and Ecosystem teams to align regional activities with product and business priorities.
- Advise internal teams on APAC developer audiences, regional needs, localization requirements, engagement approaches, and ecosystem opportunities.
- Identify and prioritize programs, content, and community investments based on their potential to improve developer adoption and outcomes.
- Share regional results, insights, risks, and opportunities with global stakeholders and recommend adjustments based on evidence.
- Mentor colleagues and subject matter experts who participate in developer education, technical content, workshops, and community programs.

You Must Have / 必須要件
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Japanese language proficiency, including the ability to lead technical discussions, deliver presentations and training, build community relationships, and create written developer communications.
- Professional English language proficiency, including the ability to collaborate with global teams and communicate with international developer audiences.

- Experience as a Developer Advocate, Developer Relations Engineer, technical community leader, or senior technical educator.

- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with developer communities, research organizations, startups, universities, or technology ecosystems.
- Experience speaking at technical conferences, workshops, meetups, webinars, hackathons, or community programs.
- Familiarity with Python, Linux, cloud platforms, APIs, GitHub, or modern software development workflows.
- Experience independently planning and executing regional developer programs or advocacy initiatives.
- Experience gathering, synthesizing, and presenting developer feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to investigate, reproduce, and clearly communicate technical issues.
